Welcome to the Guilford County GIS Underground Storage Tanks Website. Before using this application please take a moment to review the instructions below. Enter   To search for a facility by ID # or by clicking on the facility itself, click the Search By Id   icon and a text box will appear in the bottom frame. You can enter the ID # and click the Show Facility button to highlight the facility. Or, you can simply click on any blue dot (Facility) on the map to get its information.   To find a street on the map, click the Find a Street   icon. Enter the street name only in the text box. The map will highlight the street, and the facilities for that street will be listed in the bottom frame. It will also display facility addresses and the cities they are in. To go to a facility, click the number in the text box.   There are three buttons in the right frame that will allow you to view a list of Facilities with Active Tanks, Facilities with Permanently Closed Tanks, and Facilities with Temporarily Closed Tanks, respectively. Inclusion in one list does not prevent inclusion in another, as many facilites have a combination of Active or Closed tanks. Click one of the three buttons: , , or . The corresponding facility ID's and names will be listed in the bottom frame. It will also display facility addresses and the cities they are in.
